So, even though I’m the one who made the schedule, I mixed it up and forgot to post my mini-challenge on Saturday. This is why I need to put everything on my calendar. Is this a bloody book?
Yes and no. There is blood and there is death (and revenge, lots of revenge). It’s Victoria Schwab’s first adult novel, so if you’re used to her YA, this may be a shock to the system. I adored this book, it’s in the same vein as Neil Gaiman or Stephen King. Think graphic novel/comic book style, but without the pictures.

OOOH I want to read this one! Villains are better because they can go all out without caring for the good of mankind at the same time. Usually they’re driven and focused and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, without that pesky conscience getting in the way.
Villains are totally better than heroes, because they follow their own code of morals rather than society’s. They get some of the best toys sometimes, too! (Weapons fueled by frost giant magic, anyone?) I know everyone always says Batman has such wonderful toys, but I’ll take the Tesseract tyvm. (And villains get better outfits.)
If I had to pick a superpower already in existence, I’ve always been fond of Professor X’s & Jean Grey’s mind abilities. But I’ve also been fascinated by super reading speed (as long as I could retain all that information). I want some sort of super mind powers. ^_^
Villains are better than heroes because villains are the instigators. With their schemes and machinations, they are the doers while heroes are left reacting to what’s going on. It’s good to be the villain. 😉

I’d definitely want some sort of mind control evil power (if I wanted to have an evil power, of course.) - something to make someone bend to your will. It’s sinister and cruel and probably the backbone of a truly evil character, I’d think.
