When I think of beach reading, I think of relaxing books that make me both laugh and swoon. I’ve picked 5 books I’ve read and 5 books I want to read:
Confessions of Georgia Nicholson by Louise Rennison - I liked to the first one, but this entire series is hilarious. I’m hoping to read through the whole series again this summer.
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick - This book just makes my heart happy.
Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich- I still have a few books left in the series to read, but they always make me laugh.
Spying in High Heels by Gemma Halliday - This series is almost a west-coast Stephanie Plum and I can’t think of anything more perfect for the beach.
Soulless by Gail Carriger - Technically, I just reread this, but the whole series makes me laugh. I would definitely reread these at the beach.
Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik - I loved The Trouble With Flirting, so I’m really excited to read more from LaZebnik. This one is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice, which I have recently developed an obsession with (thank you Lizzie Bennett).
Take Me On by Katie McGarry - I’m a little embarrassed that I haven’t read this one yet.
Nowhere But Here by Katie McGarry - I love Katie McGarry and am really excited for this pre-order to arrive at my door.
Catching Jordan by Miranda Keneally - I’ve been meaning to read this one for a long time and I think, this summer, it’s going to happen.
On the Fence by Kasie West - I just think this one will be super adorable and make me smile.
